Romain Digneaux

Romain is an EU public policy manager based in Brussels (Belgium). His work at Proton focuses on defending encryption and online privacy, antitrust, and child safety. As a member of the public policy team, he meets regularly with EU and national officials to ensure the voices of Proton and its users are being heard. Before joining Proton, he worked on technology policy, in particular platform regulation and freedom of expression online. Romain has Master's degrees in European studies, international relations, and political science, and a Bachelor's degree in History.
