How to add photos as favorites in Proton Drive

You can mark photos as favorites to easily find and access the ones that matter most to you — like special memories, important documents, or frequently used images.

Marking favorites helps you quickly filter and view your top photos without having to scroll through your entire library. You can mark an image as favorite from the Photos or Albums tab.

Here’s how you can mark favorite photos using the web, Android, and iOS apps:

Web app

1. Using the Drive web app(yeni pencere), go to Photos or Photos → Albums.
2. Hover over a picture. If you’re in Albums, open an album and hover over an image.
3. Click the heart icon on the top right of the photo.

To remove a photo from your favorites, click the white heart on the photo. You can also go to the Favorites view to easily find all your favorite photos and unmark them by clicking the heart again.

Android

1. Open a photo. If you’re in Albums, open an album and then a photo.
2. Tap ⋮ on the top right.

3. Select Add to favorites.

To unmark a favorite, select a picture, tap ⋮, and tap Remove from favorites.

iOS

1. Go to Photos or Photos → Albums.
2. Tap to open a photo or long-press to select multiple photos.
3. Select the heart icon on the bottom.

To unmark a favorite, select one or more photos and tap the heart icon again.
