Here’s what we’ve delivered in 2025 so far:

November

• Securely scan paper documents into PDFs that are encrypted on your device and safely stored in cloud storage with Proton Drive on iOS.

October

• Quickly find Screenshots, Portraits, Selfies, and Panoramas with new photo filters.

September

• Easily import photos and albums from Google Photos to Proton Drive using the Windows app.

June

• Upload and stream large videos such as films, docs, or hours of personal footage.
• Quickly scroll through your photo history with timeline view for web, Android, and iOS.

May

• Use a new color picker with live preview, copy text as Markdown, and move easily between folders without leaving your tab in Docs.
• Keep working on files without internet access on macOS using the “Make available offline” feature.
• Easily create, organize, and browse your photos by grouping memories into albums.

April

• Download Proton Drive 2.0 for macOS and experience improved sync reliability, file management, and UI polish.
• Use the Optimize Storage feature in the Windows app for clearer sync status updates in File Explorer and greater control over which folders stay local or are offloaded automatically.

March

• Collect files and invite anyone to edit Proton Docs securely, even if they don’t have a Proton Account.
• Directly access files synced from your desktop through the new “Computers” tab on iOS.

February

• Load photos faster on Android and view sharper HD thumbnails.

January

• Receive email notifications when collaborators share or update documents in Docs.
• Use the Android app in 28 languages worldwide.
