Proton is coming to London

We are excited to announce Proton is expanding to London. Community is everything for Proton, and serving the global Proton user base is our overriding objective. From the beginning, the UK has always been one of the countries with the largest Proton communities, and we are grateful for all the support we have received.

Over the years, Proton has gradually expanded our presence beyond Switzerland to better serve our community. In November 2019, we opened up an office in Taipei, Taiwan, giving us a presence in Asia, a critical frontier for internet privacy. While Proton users come from over 180 countries, the largest segment has always come from English-speaking countries.

With that in mind, when we were looking to open a new office, London was the natural choice. It reflects Proton’s diverse and international nature and is home to an incredible number of talented individuals. Our London office will be a hub for engineering, marketing, product, design, and the many other responsibilities we have to execute well to serve you best.

Building a better internet where privacy is the default is not easy. It requires audacity, tenacious work, and the courage to be different. If you want to be a part of building a better internet, join us! You can see all our open positions on our Careers page(new window).
