Short domain (@pm.me) email addresses
It can be inconvenient to spell out your @proton.me or @protonmail.com email address when sharing it with others. We’ve created short domain email addresses (@pm.me) to simplify this process.
If you’re on a Proton Mail paid plan, you can activate a separate @pm.me email address with your username at no extra cost. All Proton Mail users on paid plans except those added as part of an organization can activate a short domain address.
For example, if your username is john, you can activate john@pm.me to complement your existing john@proton.me or john@protonmail.com address.
When you activate your @pm.me address, it doesn’t count toward your account limit for creating multiple addresses. However, with a paid plan you can also create additional addresses using the @pm.me domain, which do count toward your limit.
Note that the short domain address (@pm.me) linked to your username cannot be disabled or deleted.
