How to share documents and invite collaborators in Docs in Proton Drive

There are two ways to share a document and invite collaborators in Docs. This article explains each method. 

From your Proton Drive account

When the file already exists in your My files, you can click on the ⋮ menu option and select Share.

You can now add your collaborators’ email addresses and assign them Viewer or Editor permissions. Viewer permission grants the ability to read documents only. Editor permission grants the ability to modify documents.

From within a document

The second method is to share the document directly from within a specific document. 

First, click on the Share icon in the top right.

Next, you’ll be able to add your collaborators’ email addresses and assign Viewer or Editor permissions.
