How to delete an album in Proton Drive

You may want to delete an album when it’s no longer useful for organizing your photos. Since albums in Proton Drive don’t take up extra storage (they’re just a way to group photos), deleting an album doesn’t remove the pictures themselves, so you can still find them in the Photos view.

Deleting an album is permanent — there’s no trash or recovery option. If the album contains photos that aren’t already in your Proton Drive photo stream (such as photos uploaded by others), you’ll be prompted to save them before deletion.

Here’s how you can delete an album in Proton Drive using the web, Android and iOS apps.

Web app

1. Using the Drive web app(nowe okno), go to Photos → Albums.
2. You have two ways to delete an album:

• Click ⋮ next to an album, select Delete album, and confirm.

• Open an album, click More on the top right, select Delete album, and confirm.

Android and iOS

1. Go to Photos → Albums.
2. Open an album.
3. Tap ⋮ or ….
4. Select Delete album and confirm.
