You can change the language of your Proton Mail(neues Fenster) account in the web app and in the iOS and Android mobile apps. This article shows you how.

How to change language in the web app

Logged in to your Proton Mail account at mail.proton.me(neues Fenster) and go to Settings → All settings → Account→ Language and time → Default language and select your preferred language from the dropdown list.

How to change language in iOS

1. Go to Settings and tap the button under “Language”.

2. Choose your preferred language. Your account language will update automatically.

How to change language in Android

1. Log in to your Proton Mail account and go to Settings.

2. In the Settings menu, select App Language to open the list of available languages.

3. Choose your preferred language from the list. Your account language will update automatically.
