Proton Mail iOS now supports eight new languages!

The Proton Mail iOS secure email app brings language support for German, French, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Polish, Ukrainian, and Dutch.

Language support

In the past five months, we’ve worked alongside our community of outstanding individuals to translate Proton Mail into as many languages as possible. This represents a long-term effort and a first step into making encrypted communication accessible to everyone in their native language.

Language support is now available in the Proton Mail iOS secure email app for German, French, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Polish, Ukrainian, Dutch. You can switch between languages from your app by heading to Settings -> Language.(new window)

If you wish to join the effort of localizing Proton Mail to your native language, you can learn more about the project here. You can also help us by reporting any errors you might find while using the app in a specific language.
