Yes. As a Proton partner, you can advertise Proton through PPC, but:
- You are not permitted to bid on brand keywords that include any variations or misspellings of Proton (brand terms).
- You are not permitted to include Proton in any text ad promoting your website through paid search programs.
- You are not permitted to link directly from your Google Ads to Proton, and we do not allow domain masking.

Affiliate Links
Here’s how to find your affiliate link:
- Log in to your partner account here: https://partners.proton.me(new window).
- In the left menu, go to the offers section and choose an offer for Proton Mail and/or Proton VPN.
- Next, choose the landing page from the drop-down list and generate the link.
Additional UTM parameters are available if needed, and you can add them to your affiliate link.

We don’t offer deals to all of our partners. If you would like to request an offer for your audience, please email the Partnerships Team at partners@proton.me.
If you log into your partner account and click on Offers from the left-hand navigation bar, you will see your tracking link and a drop-down menu of all available landing pages.
A user's language and currency preferences are automatically detected in their browser settings.
Payout
$100 for bank transfers and $1 000 for PayPal.
In the Proton Partners Program, invoices are automatically generated 30 days after the end of the month and paid by the end of the following month.
Once an invoice reaches a threshold of $100, it is paid via bank transfer. For PayPal, the threshold is $1 000.
Please select your preferred payment method in your account and follow the instructions to upload your tax form as described in the payments section.
To submit your payment details:
- Go to My Account > Payment
- Add your payment details under “Payment method” section
Once you have changed your payment details, please email the Partnerships Team at partners@proton.me with the "Updated Payment Details" subject line. We will then ensure all outstanding commissions are paid to the new account.
If you are enquiring about invoice payment, we have dedicated support for all payment issues. Please reach out to TUNE Pay Support Desk at payments@tune.com for all your payment queries.
Our partner program is revenue-shared, which means we pay commissions only on paid subscriptions.
You won't receive any commissions if you refer a user who subscribes to one of our free products. However, if that user upgrades later on to a paid plan, you will receive commissions on that upgrade.
To ensure we can process any outstanding commissions, please add all your bank details and tax information to your partner account on Tune.
Once this information is added, we will include all outstanding commissions in the next payment run.

- Next, click on Report Options and check Goal.
- Last, choose the Date Range accordingly.
Note that you can save your reports for next time by clicking Save Report and entering a name.
