How to add a Proton Meet link to a Proton Calendar event

Proton Meet is a private video conferencing app that lets you create secure meeting rooms, host and join video calls, and chat with participants. You can easily schedule a Proton Meet call directly from Proton Calendar by generating an end-to-end encrypted meeting link — meaning only you and your participants can access the meeting content, and not even Proton can read or listen to it.
Unlike third-party video conferencing apps like Zoom, there’s no extra sign-in or setup required. Everything is securely tied to your Proton Account, making scheduling faster, simpler, and more secure.
Add a Proton Meet link to an event
- Go to calendar.proton.me(nouvelle fenêtre).
- Select New event.

- Add Proton Meet conferencing. A secure end-to-end encrypted link will be automatically created. You can also click More details to copy the meeting link and share it directly.
- Enter other event details and click Save.

Your meeting will be synced to all your Proton Calendar apps.
Participants will be able to join the meeting from a Proton Calendar invitation by clicking Join with Proton Meet.

It’s also possible to join Proton Meet calls without a Proton Account if the email invites were sent to non-Proton email addresses.

Automatically add Proton Meet links to events
You can also have Proton Calendar automatically add a Proton Meet link to events that include at least one invitee.
- Go to calendar.proton.me(nouvelle fenêtre).
- Open Settings → All settings.
- Under Calendar, select General.
- In Invitations, enable Auto-add Meet links.

When this setting is turned on, Proton Calendar will automatically add a Proton Meet link to any new event that has at least one invitee.
