Using Proton Mail on Android

You can read, reply to, and organize your messages securely with the Proton Mail Android app. It offers the same intuitive experience as the Proton Mail web app, plus push notifications to keep you updated the moment new emails arrive.
Beta testing
Our dedicated Beta group tests app updates before they’re released to everyone. If you wish to join, you will get early access to the latest features and help shape development with your feedback.

Proton Mail and third-party email apps
Proton Mail does not integrate with third-party email clients on Android. These apps cannot perform the encryption and decryption processes required to keep your messages secure.
Accessing via mobile browser
In addition to the Android app, you can access Proton Mail in most mobile browsers by visiting account.proton.me. For the best experience, check our list of supported browsers.
What’s new in the latest app update
We’ve completely rebuilt the Proton Mail app to give you a faster, smoother, and more reliable experience. Enjoy improved performance across the board, and a refreshed interface which makes it easier to stay on top of your inbox.
You can also read, write, and organize emails without an internet connection: everything syncs automatically once you’re back online. This update is currently being rolled out gradually to all users.
