Scheduling a Proton Meet call

You can schedule a Proton Meet call using the web app, desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux), or mobile app (Android, iOS). There are two ways to set up a meeting in Proton Meet:

Schedule a meeting with Proton Calendar

Use this option if you want to sync your meetings to Proton Calendar and easily send email invites to participants. You’ll need a Proton Mail address (or a custom domain on Proton Mail).

  1. Go to the Proton Meet dashboard(nouvelle fenêtre).
  2. Select Create meeting → Schedule meeting.

  1. Click Schedule in Proton Calendar. This will open Proton Calendar in your browser.

  1. Fill in your meeting details:
    • Title: Add a clear name for your meeting.
    • Date and time: Add a start and finish time for your meeting.
    • Participants: Enter the email addresses of everyone you want to invite.
    • Conferencing: A Proton Meet link will be added automatically.
    • Description: Add notes, topics, or an agenda.
    • Reminders: Set mobile, desktop, or email notifications for yourself.
    • Calendar: Select a calendar to save your event to.
  2. Select Save and then Send to confirm sending email invites.

Your meeting will be synced to all your Proton Calendar apps. Participants will be able to join the meeting from a Proton Calendar invitation or without a Proton Account.

Use this option to create a meeting link and add it to external calendars such as Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar.

This doesn’t create a Proton Calendar event or send email invites to Proton users. To invite participants, you have to share the meeting link manually or add the event to external calendars.

  1. Go to the Proton Meet dashboard(nouvelle fenêtre).
  2. Select Create meeting → Schedule meeting.

  1. Enter your meeting details:
    • Title
    • Date and time. Click Show timezones to schedule across time zones more easily.
    • (Optional) recurrence

  1. Click Save. This creates a meeting entry in your dashboard and generates a meeting link.
  2. You can select Copy 📋 to copy and share the meeting link with others.

Next, you can select Done to return to the dashboard, or Add to calendar and choose:

  • Outlook Calendar to create and save the meeting in Microsoft Outlook Calendar. This is only available on the web and desktop apps.
  • Google Calendar to create and save the meeting in Google Calendar.

  • Download .ics to download a calendar file you can import other calendar apps or share with people. On Android, this option appears as Share event file.
  • Add to phone calendar to save the meeting to your device’s calendar.

How to check and manage your meeting schedule

Under the My meetings section shown in your Proton Meet dashboard (on desktop or web), you’ll see the date, title, and time of every meeting you have created.

Meetings are sorted by date, so your next scheduled meeting appears at the top of the list.

For every upcoming meeting, you can select:

  • To copy a meeting link to your clipboard, select Copy
  • To enter a meeting room, select Join
  • To update meeting details, select Edit ✏️
  • To remove a meeting from the list, select Delete 🗑️
